Why the firm above you gets the phone call

It’s rarely the better tradesman. Someone searches, sees three firms on the map and picks the one that looks busiest and best looked-after. Most trade listings lose on the same three things.

    • Reviews left without a reply

Silence reads as “they don’t care”, and an unanswered bad review is the first thing a customer reads.

    • Nothing posted for months, or years

Google treats a quiet listing as a dormant one, and so do customers comparing you with a firm that posted last week.

    • A service area set to a whole county

Google wants named towns. Set to “Suffolk”, you’re diluted everywhere, including in your own town.

What I do, and what it costs

Start with a rebuild to fix what’s wrong, then keep it working month to month if you want. Prices are fixed and there’s no contract to sign.

    One-off job

    Google profile rebuild

    £249done in 7–10 days

£50 deposit to book your slot, £199 when it’s finished.

A full 40-point audit of your listing, then I fix everything it turns up.

    • Categories and services list put right
    • Service areas set to the towns you actually cover
    • Description and business details rewritten
    • Photos sorted, named and uploaded
    • Every unanswered review replied to
    • A before-and-after report so you can see what changed

    Local visibility

    £299a month, 30 days’ notice

A rebuilt listing goes stale without regular attention. This keeps it alive.

    • Four Google posts every month, from your job photos
    • New reviews answered within 48 hours
    • A heads-up within 24 hours if a bad review lands
    • Listing kept accurate as your services change
    • A plain-English monthly report: calls, clicks, searches
    • A competitor comparison every quarter
    • WhatsApp me directly
    Talk about monthly management

When the basics are working: visibility and enquiries

Everything in monthly management, plus automatic review requests after each job, a landing page for your best-paid work, managed Google local ads and call tracking so you can see what’s bringing work in.

    from £599a month

    How it works

    1. A free look at your listing

I go through your Google listing against my 40-point check and show you what’s costing you work. On the phone, on a video call or in person.

    2. The rebuild

If you want it fixed, I do the lot in 7–10 days. You give me manager access, never ownership, and I send a before-and-after when it’s done.

    3. Keep it working

You send job photos to a WhatsApp group. I turn them into posts, answer reviews and send you a short report each month.

Who I work with, and where

I only work with trades, and only locally, so I can come and see you.

    Trades

    • Heating and plumbing
    • Electricians
    • Roofers
    • Builders
    • Landscapers and driveways

    Hi, I’m Oscar

I live in Mildenhall and I look after Google listings for local trades. Most of the firms I speak to are good at what they do and losing work anyway, because the firm down the road has a listing that looks busier.

I fix that, and keep it fixed. I’ll come and see you rather than do everything over email, you’ll always deal with me, and your listing stays in your name the whole time.

Optional: add a line about your background, e.g. years running a team or businesses you’ve built websites for. Only include what’s true.

    Questions people ask

Anything else, ring or message me. I’d rather you asked.

What does the free check involve?

I go through your Google listing against a 40-point checklist, compare it with the firms ranking above you, and show you what I’d change. It takes about half an hour and there’s no obligation to buy anything afterwards.

Will you take over my Google listing?

No. You keep ownership. I ask for manager access only, which you can remove at any time from your own Google account.

Do I have to sign a contract?

No. The rebuild is a one-off job: a £50 deposit to book, and the rest when it’s done. Monthly management rolls month to month and you can stop with 30 days’ notice.

Can you get me to number one on Google?

Nobody can promise that honestly, so be wary of anyone who does. What I can do is fix the things that hold listings back and keep yours active, which is what moves you up over time.

How soon will I see a difference?

The fixes are visible straight away. Changes in where you appear usually show over the following weeks, and the monthly report shows you the numbers as they move.

I’m not good with computers. What do I have to do?

Very little. Give me access once, then send photos of your jobs to a WhatsApp group when you remember. I handle the rest.

    How do I pay?

By bank transfer or standing order. I’ll send an invoice with my bank details.

For a rebuild, a £50 deposit secures your slot and comes off the final bill. The remaining £199 is due once the work is finished and you’ve seen the before-and-after report. If you cancel before I start, I’ll refund the deposit in full; once work has started, it’s non-refundable.

Monthly management is invoiced monthly, and you can stop with 30 days’ notice.

    Book a time to talk

Pick what you’d like to talk about and a time that suits you. I’ll confirm by text or email, usually the same day.

    • Weekdays, 9am to 1pm. Most chats take about 30 minutes.
    • By phone, video call or in person at your premises.
    • The listing check is free, with nothing to sign.
